December is one of my favorite times of the year because not only is it festive, it’s also when I spend time to reflect on and appreciate all the goodness, growth and learnings in the past year.
As you’re getting ready for celebrating, gifting, entertaining and preparing for the new year (this coming one an epic 2020!), take a pause and a moment for yourself.
I mean that. This month will fly by in a wink. Give yourself the time to savor life's delicious nectar that you've worked for throughout the year.
One of the best ways to cherish these moments is through quiet reflection.

It could be considered a light hobby of mine.

I used to dress like a cross between a bag lady and a fairy princess. This was when I was very young. About 3-5 years of age. According to my mom, I went through a period where the first words out of my mouth the moment I woke up was, “I wanna wear a dress.” (in mandarin).
All that is important is this one moment in movement. Make the moment important, vital, and worth living. Do not let it slip away unnoticed and unused.

As a coach, I help people reconnect and gain clarity within themselves to improve in different areas of life such as stress, relationship, work and trauma.
While these areas might seem different at first, often what helps my clients get “unstuck” share a commonality - and that is presence.
C'mon, stay with me. I can already hear the snoring coming my way. Zzzz.

The moment you decide you want to hire a coach is an exciting one.
Like dating, you’re pumped for the possibilities.
But like dating, you soon realize it can be complicated and tricky to figure out what’s what. And depending on who you ask, you always get a different answer on the “rules of the game.”
"The stress-response can be more damaging than the stressor itself, especially when the stress is purely psychological. And if you experience every day as an emergency, you will pay the price." ~Dr. Robert M. Sapolsky (Professor of biology and neurology at Stanford University).
Stress is predicted by scientists to be the downfall of our modern society.
"No one undertakes research in physics with the intention of winning a prize. It is the joy of discovering something no one knew before." ~ Stephen Hawking
Do you ever experience this? Or is it just me?
"We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world." ~Buddha
I admit, the title is a hint obnoxious.
Almost sounds like I have it all figured out. But that's far from the truth.
