De-stress my life
Stress is a normal part of life. It begins when we're born (as we cry out), and exists as long as we exist in this world.
Our bodies are made to react to stress (or threat) for survival. The fact that you're reading this right now shows how good your ancestors were at reacting to threats in their environment.
So what's the problem then?
We develop issues when we experience chronic (or long-term) stress. Our stress response ( fight / flight / freeze) is designed to be our short-term survival instincts and not intended to become our natural state of being.
The effects of chronic stress is harmful. When we experience prolonged stress, we marinate our muscles, brain and tissue in stress chemicals that break down our health and wellbeing in all sorts of ways.
